2021 Articondo Proprietary Red

NEW RELEASE! The 2021 vintage of our Articondo is a cuveé of four of the five red wine varietals that we grow on our Estate in Santa Ynez and is a true testament to the classic Bordeaux blend profile. This wine is fondly named after Articondo Grassini, the first member of the Grassini family to emigrate from Pisa, Italy.

This wine really makes its presence known; it’s bursting with character, much like Articondo himself! It opens with notes of rich fig, raisin and stewed plum, along with hints of walnut, dried rosemary, and a touch of anise. Flavors of cherry and wild blueberry greet the palate, followed by notes of cinnamon, all-spice and white pepper. The four varietals work harmoniously, creating a savory, supple mouthfeel. The focused flavors and bright acid balance perfectly in this refined blend that is sure to please. Our 2021 Articondo is showing beautifully upon release; it is ready to drink now and will continue to develop over the next few years.
