Visit Grassini Family Vineyards

Located just steps from State Street in the Historic Presidio Neighborhood, our award-winning Tasting Room offers a warm, elegant setting in the heart of Downtown Santa Barbara. Guests can enjoy a curated Estate Flight featuring five estate-grown Bordeaux varietals or relax with a bottle of their favorite selection—an ideal introduction to Grassini Family Vineyards and the spirit of Happy Canyon.

We are open daily, with seatings offered from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our tastings start at $30 per person.

Escape to the Santa Ynez countryside for a 90-minute semi-private tasting at our family’s estate vineyard. Set amid rolling hills, this seated experience offers a guided journey through our current releases, accompanied by sweeping vineyard views. Learn about our winemaking philosophy, sustainable farming practices, and the unique terroir of the Happy Canyon AVA in an unforgettable setting.

For guests who prefer a more relaxed, self-paced experience, we also offer the option to reserve a table to enjoy wines by the bottle in our outdoor seating area.

Our Private Tasting Experience offers an elevated two-hour visit and an exclusive look behind the scenes at Grassini Family Vineyards. Hosted in the elegant setting of our winery lounge, your group will enjoy a curated tasting of six wines, guided by a dedicated wine host who will walk you through our winemaking philosophy and what makes our estate unique.

This experience includes a private tour through our production facility and barrel caves, offering a deeper look into our process from vineyard to bottle — and the thoughtful, sustainable practices that shape every vintage.

Private tastings start at $125 per person, and wine club discounts will be applied to the tasting price.

Designed for collectors, enthusiasts, and guests seeking a deeper connection to our wines, the Pinnacle Tour & Tasting offers rare access to the people, places, and wines that define our estate.

Your visit begins with a guided vehicle tour through our vineyard blocks, where sweeping views of Happy Canyon and insight into our estate farming philosophy set the stage for the afternoon ahead. From there, continue into our atmospheric barrel caves for an intimate look at where our wines quietly mature during their time in French oak.

Following the tour, settle into an elevated seated tasting featuring six of our most limited and sought-after wines, including reserve selections, rare library offerings, and our acclaimed Pinnacle Cabernet Sauvignon. A thoughtfully curated gourmet charcuterie board accompanies the tasting, carefully selected to complement the depth and character of each wine.

Unhurried and deeply personal, this experience is designed to immerse guests in the beauty, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury of the Grassini estate.

Witness a breathtaking Santa Ynez Valley sunset during an unforgettable evening at the pond at Grassini Family Vineyards, where every moment is framed by the natural beauty of the property.

Once each month, we invite guests to experience the estate after hours with a special extended evening seating at our serene pond-side setting. As the golden light settles across the vineyards and rolling hills of Happy Canyon, you’ll enjoy estate wines by the bottle or glass beneath the shade of ancient oak trees in one of the Santa Ynez Valley’s most picturesque settings. 

Guests are welcome to arrive anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 PM and linger through sunset at their own pace. Please note that wine tastings are not offered during these evening seatings. A $10 per person reservation fee applies.

With sun-drenched terraces, sweeping vineyard views, and interiors that feel both refined and warmly familiar, it's a setting that transforms any occasion into something truly special.

Available for private events and short-term rentals, La Tarantella offers an intimate and beautifully appointed backdrop for gatherings worth remembering — from milestone celebrations to quiet escapes with the people you love most.
