2016 Articondo Magnum

This 2016 vintage is a cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Compared to previous vintage of our Articondo in which Petit Verdot was the primary varietal, this 2016 blend showcases a higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon.

This wine opens with expressive aromas of black currant, blackberry, and vanilla. Flavors of newly ripe plum, fig jam, and blueberry shine beautifully as this garnet wine unfolds, and the finish is long and lingering. 

The “Articondo” is named after Articondo Grassini, the first member of the Grassini family to leave Pisa, Italy and start a new life in America. Articondo loved to garden and cook alongside his wife Afiora. To honor their memory, this wine was crafted to be enjoyed with your favorite dishes in the company of loved ones.
