Earth Day & Sustainability at Our Vineyard
Over the years, Grassini Family Vineyards has made thoughtful choices to minimize our impact: from reclaimed materials in the winery, to gardens that support pollinators, to solar panels that capture the energy of the Happy Canyon sun. We even return our grape skins back to the earth as compost after harvest, and have chickens on the property to help with fertilizing the grounds. These small decisions, made consistently, help us care for the land that gives us so much.
This Earth Day 2026, Katie Grassini talks sustainability at our vineyard, from running on solar energy to our approaches to water and land management, which help us to maintain our SIP (Sustainability in Practice) certification.
