Celebrating Afiora Tinucci

Born in 1885 in Asciano Pisano, Italy, Afiora (Tinucci) Grassini brought warmth, creativity, and resilience to every chapter of her life. From helping support her family as a young girl in Italy to building a home filled with hospitality in Minneapolis after immigrating to America, Afiora became the heart of many cherished Grassini family traditions.

Family members remembered her for her intricate embroidery work, homemade ravioli, generous Sunday dinners, and the way she welcomed loved ones around the table with wine and conversation.

Her spirit of care and connection continues to influence the Grassini family to this day.

Today, we celebrate Afiora — her story, her strength, and the lasting legacy she helped create, with an estate-grown Rosé in her name.
