In contrast to the other Sauvignon Blancs we produce, our Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is aged in French Oak rather than stainless steel. Our 2017 vintage opens with aromas of lavender, vanilla, and cardamom, along with a hint of lemon zest. Flavors of horned melon and cantaloupe are laced with notes of baked peach cobbler, crème brûlée, and pie crust. These characteristics are a product of the time spent maturing in oak barrels, as well as the traits of the fruit itself.
