2015 Articondo Bordeaux Blend

Our Articondo expresses the warmth of the 2015 growing season. This 2015 vintage is a cuvée of Cabernet. Compared to previous vintages of our Articondo in which Cabernet Sauvignon was the primary varietal, this 2015 blend showcases a higher percentage of Petit Verdot.

This wine offers an expressive nose of toasted spices and dark fruit, characteristic of the Petit Verdot grape. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc work in harmony to add black cherry, black currant, and notes of wet stone to the bouquet.

Articondo is named after Larry Grassini's grandfather - the first member of the Grassini family to leave Pisa, Italy and start a new life in America.  Articondo Grassini loved to garden and cook.  To honor him, this wine was crafted to compliment just about any meal.
