Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Genie Thomsen was introduced to clay early in life by her mom who brought home projects that Genie would embellish. After earning her MFA degree, Genie returned home to produce and sell her artwork. She was offered a teaching position at the Adult Education Program in Santa Barbara, where she continues to teach. Clay has been Genie’s passion for over forty years. Check out some of these fascinating pieces while sipping on your favorite Grassini Family Vineyards wine.

Grassini Family Vineyards is proud to participate in the 2014 Santa Barbara County Vintners' Association Celebration of Harvest!  This annual event celebrates the year's bounty, where vintners take a break from the vineyards and cellars to share with you harvest tales and wines.

The highlight of the weekend is the Festival itself on Saturday October 11th at the Old Mission Santa Inez in Solvang, where every all of the SBCVA's member wineries gather to present their wines, often poured by the winemakers themselves. The Festival also presents some of the best local food from restaurants, catering companies and gourmet food creators.
